of Dodge Center, Minnesota
With a traditional Sunday worship format we praise God on Sundays starting at 10:00 AM. All are welcome to join us.
Through the ongoing commitment of members at First Congregational Church, a ministry to feed the hungry is touching lives. For over 10 years members begin meeting in the spring on a weekly basis to to till, plant, cultivate and then start a fall harvest of a large variety of produce. Most of it is given to the communities in Dodge County through the SEMCAC food pantry based in Kasson.
Each year over a ton of groceries are harvested. These include three varieties of onion, potatoes, cabbage, lettuce, brocolli, pepper and tomatoes to name just a few.
Each summer there is a special service held outside to bless our pets. Because God made these creatures all are welcome to come and have prayers said over them blessing them and the gift they give us in our lives.
Each December the Women's Fellowship along with church members and supporters have a Cookie Walk. Proceeds from the Cookie Walk are used to support the church utilites and various missions throughout the year.
The First Congregational Church is a church that is known for its outreach to the community. From Sunday worship services filled with music, prayer and the word of God to Gardening worship to help the community food shelves the membership has always been very open and dedicated to serving the Lord.
